He Is Risen Indeed |

| The tomb is
empty. The grave could not hold Him. We have been redeemed. Let
the world rejoice. He is risen! It is the greatest moment in the annals
of time. Jesus Christ has conquered death, hell and the grave. The
resurrected Savior now lives in the hearts of His believers. He is
Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Because of the Resurrection, God's people are as flowers blooming in the desert. They bloom as a watered garden, giving hope to weary travelers. God's people grow and flourish in an arid land, spreading their fragrance of beauty, life and hope. Those who are thirsty drink the living water of God's Word and they are sustained in drought and dry seasons. God still makes His home in hearts that receive Him, filling them with wondrous abiding love and mercy. Those who follow Jesus walk on golden streets and fly with joy on wings of love. Jesus is the daystar causing the shadows of darkness to flee. The anxious heart runs rampant until the Prince of Peace reigns, bringing quietness to the grateful soul. Trusting in Him assures the believer that he is never alone, even in the darkest, loneliest night. Jesus did not die in vain upon that cruel tree. So I will praise His holy name and tell what He's done for me. I'll love Him, praise Him and joyful be for His mercies never end. He's the One who saved my soul. He is my Dearest Friend. "And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not" (Isaiah 58:11). The One who endured the cross seeks His own with matchless grace reaching out to hurting humanity. There is no obstacle that His love cannot overcome, for love triumphed on a hill called Golgotha, forever sealing the victory. His sweetest words of love has come to the depths of contrite hearts, bringing joy to repentant souls. Children of light prevail, for darkness can never overcome the glorious light of the glory of God. Hope springs eternal for the life giving blood of Jesus has forever redeemed mankind's soul from death. "It is finished" is written on the certificate of debt, canceling the believer's dread of death. The One who died for me is the One who holds the key, for now and eternity. Because of the Resurrection, the most beautiful day on earth pales into insignificance compared to the glory and riches of heaven. The power of the Resurrection resides in every believer who, being confident of victory, overcomes the world. The angelic choir rejoices jubilantly when the repentant sinner bows in humble repentance and adores His Maker. Because of the Resurrection, God's light prevails in the darkest night and brings hope to the aching heart. Even nature celebrates the Resurrection. Her waving daffodils sway with the "Hallelujah Chorus." On a hill called Calvary, I can see a man who died for me. Easter reveals the wonderful truth of the Resurrection, proving once again that love is stronger than death. He is risen! He is risen indeed! |
